Hosting young people in Umbria for the Youth Jubilee 2025
REGISTRATION WILL CLOSE ON 15 MAY 2025
At the end of July 2025, several groups of young people, from Italy and abroad, will reach the city of Rome, to participate in the events planned for the Youth Jubilee wich is scheduled from 28 July to 3 August.
The initiative will be preceded by a few days of hospitality in host families or in the structures of neighbouring dioceses, as is also the case for World Youth Days. In our country, Umbria, hospitality will be provided for young people aged 16 and over, from 24 to 28 July, according to the following schedule:
THURSDAY 24 JULY 2025
- In the afternoon, arrival of the young people and accommodation in the lodgings.
FRIDAY 25 JULY 2025
- Diocesan day for groups hosted in the Dioceses of Terni-Narni-Amelia, Orvieto-Todi, Assisi-Nocera Umbra-Gualdo Tadino, Foligno. Each Diocese will independently define the schedule of the day.
- Visit to Assisi from 8.00 to 19.00 for groups hosted in the Dioceses of Perugia-Città della Pieve, Gubbio, Città di Castello and Spoleto-Norcia.
The young people will visit the Basilicas of St Francis and St Clare, the Sanctuary of St. Damien, the Cathedral, the Convent of the New Church and the Sanctuary of the Spoliation (where the tomb of Blessed Carlo Acutis is located). For this visit, as for the Basilica of St. Francis, the entrances will be regulated by previously assigned times. The visit will be possible from 9.30 to 17.30.
Participants will be able to prepare for the day through a specific phone app, containing information and videos on the life of St Francis, St Clare and Blessed Carlo Acutis.
Holy Mass will be celebrated in the morning in the hosting parishes.
SATURDAY 26 JULY 2025
- Diocesan day for groups hosted in the Dioceses of Perugia-Città della Pieve, Gubbio, Città di Castello and Spoleto-Norcia. Each Diocese will independently define the schedule of the day.

SUNDAY 27 JULY 2025
- In the morning, Holy Mass and lunch will be held in the host parishes.
- From 17.00 to 23.00 all the groups hosted in Umbria will meet in Assisi, at the Basilica of Saint Mary of the Angels, for a communal meeting, during which it will also be possible to visit the Porziuncola church.
MONDAY 28 JULY 2025
- In the morning, or in the afternoon, departure of the young people for Rome. The departure time will depend on the reception programme of the diocese where the group is hosted.

Each group provide for their own buses, as well as for the insurance, independently. The registration fee per pilgrim is 60€.

The number of the participants entered in the file must correspond to the number of people for whom the payment has been made.
Notes:
- Accommodation is reserved for young people aged 16 and over; young people aged 15 and under might be included.
- The registration fee (€60) covers food and accommodation.
- The group must have a bus at its disposal during the days of hospitality in Umbria, to travel according to the programme. The bus will also be used for the trip to Rome at the end of the days spent in Umbria. The bus reservation must be provided by the group's contact person.
- The bus drivers will be accommodated in the hotels indicated by the organisers.
- Before the departure, an insurance which covers all type of accident and all the members of the group must be taken out by the group leaders in their own country.
- The cost of bus hire, plus board and lodging for the drivers, as well as the above mentioned insurance is in charge of the group and is not included in the €60 fee.
- Participants should bring ID card, health card, sleeping bag, mat and inflatable pillow.
- The name of the Umbrian diocese in which the group will be hosted will be announced within the end of June.

Ospitalità dei giovani in Umbria in occasione del Giubileo dei Giovani 2025
LE ISCRIZIONI SI CHIUDERANNO IL 15 MAGGIO 2025
Alla fine del mese di luglio 2025, numerosi gruppi di giovani, provenienti dall’Italia e dall’estero, raggiungeranno la città di Roma, per partecipare agli appuntamenti previsti per il Giubileo dei giovani, in programma dal 28 luglio al 3 agosto.
L’iniziativa sarà preceduta da alcuni giorni di accoglienza nelle famiglie o nelle strutture delle Diocesi limitrofe, come avviene anche in occasione delle Giornate mondiali della Gioventù. Nella Regione Umbria l’ospitalità sarà garantita per giovani che abbiano già compiuto 16 anni, dal 24 al 28 luglio, secondo il seguente programma:
GIOVEDÌ 24 LUGLIO 2025
- Nel pomeriggio, arrivo dei giovani e sistemazione negli alloggi.
VENERDÌ 25 LUGLIO 2025
- Giornata diocesana per i gruppi ospitati nelle Diocesi di Terni-Narni-Amelia, Orvieto-Todi, Assisi-Nocera Umbra-Gualdo Tadino, Foligno. Ogni Diocesi definirà autonomamente la struttura della giornata.
- Visita ad Assisi dalle ore 8,00 alle ore 19,00 per i gruppi ospitati nelle Diocesi di Perugia-Città della Pieve, Gubbio, Città di Castello e Spoleto-Norcia.

DOMENICA 27 LUGLIO 2025
- Nel mattino è prevista la Santa Messa e il pranzo nelle parrocchie ospitanti.
- Dalle ore 17,00 alle ore 23,00 tutti i gruppi ospitati in Umbria si ritroveranno ad Assisi, presso la Basilica di Santa Maria degli Angeli, per un momento di festa, durante il quale sarà possibile visitare anche la chiesa della Porziuncola.
LUNEDÌ 28 LUGLIO 2025
- Nel mattino, o nel pomeriggio, partenza dei giovani per Roma. L’orario di partenza dipenderà dal programma di accoglienza della Diocesi in cui il gruppo è ospitato.

Ogni gruppo dovrà procurarsi autonomamente l’autobus per il trasporto ed essere munito di un’assicurazione contro gli infortuni. La quota d'iscrizione per ogni pellegrino è pari a 60€.

Il numero dei partecipanti inseriti nel file dovrà corrispondere a quello delle persone per le quali è stato effettuato il pagamento.
Note:
- L’ospitalità è riservata a giovani che abbiano già compiuto 16 anni, ma potranno essere fatte delle eccezioni per giovani di 15 anni.
- La quota d’iscrizione, pari a 60€, comprende il vitto e l’alloggio.
- Il gruppo dovrà avere un autobus a propria disposizione per tutti i giorni dell’accoglienza in Umbria, per effettuare gli spostamenti richiesti. L’autobus servirà anche per andare a Roma al termine dell’ospitalità. La prenotazione dell’autobus spetta al referente del gruppo.
- Gli autisti degli autobus dormiranno in alberghi indicati dagli organizzatori.
- Il responsabile del gruppo dovrà stipulare, nella propria nazione, un’assicurazione contro gli infortuni per tutti i componenti del suo gruppo.
- Le spese per il noleggio dell’autobus, per il vitto e l’alloggio degli autisti degli autobus e per l’assicurazione sono a carico del gruppo e non sono incluse nella quota di 60€.
- Gli iscritti dovranno avere con sé: documento di identità, tessera sanitaria, sacco a pelo, stuoino e cuscino gonfiabile.
- Entro la fine del mese di giugno sarà comunicato il nome della diocesi umbra nella quale il gruppo sarà ospitato.
- I gruppi regolarmente iscritti potranno rimanere aggiornati visitando il sito internet www.umbriajubilee.it e i suoi relativi account social.
